This session will provide an overview of incorporating humor into healthcare and specifically into counseling in audiology. The science behind techniques for incorporating humor into healthcare will be addressed. Improv will be the primary technique presented, specifically in how to expand options for counseling. Audiologists are great improvisers as it's what we do and this session will give techniques and increase your interest in using this to more effectively communicate with patients.
